While working at The Carole Tanenbaum Vintage Collection for 5 years throughout high school and university, I became fascinated with the beautiful jewelry by Henry Schreiner. His use of inverted gemstones, irregular shapes, and colours drew me in as a collector. When tasked with a poster assignment for Typography and Visual Design at Parsons School of Design, I was hooked with the idea of transforming his famous brooches into an infographic series. The following images are the completed work. They are 23in x 34in posters that blend archival imagery and illustrated symbols to highlight Schreiner’s signature designs.
